This temple is located at the eastern foot of Utsunoya Pass. It enshrines a statue of Enmei Jizo (Apothanasia Ksitigarbha), a bodhisattva said to protect travelers from a man-eating ogre that appears on Utsunoya Pass. At a festival held on August 23rd and 24th, the temple distributes "todango" (dumplings in strings of ten) as amulets to ward off evil, associated with Enmei Jizo defeating the ogre.
