The most popular “Aoi Daimaru” is a senbei (wheat cracker) made with miso favored by Tokugawa Ieyasu, and marked with a crest of three leaves of futaba aoi (Asarum caulescens) officially recognized by Kunozan Toshogu Shrine. Enjoy five different flavors in this senbei assorted set. Sweet senbei made from kneaded wheat flour were the mainstream in the Edo Period. These senbei are a delicacy that you can try in Fuchu-shuku, the castle town of Sumpu Castle.
